Role Overview

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Basko is responsible for end-to-end restaurant operations, delivering premium guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and building a high-performance team culture. This role requires strong hospitality leadership, sharp business acumen, and hands-on operational excellence aligned with Baskos premium positioning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain Baskos premium service standards and SOP compliance.
- Monitor table turns, reservations, and guest flow to maximize covers.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and statutory compliance at all times.

2. Revenue & P&L; Ownership
- Drive sales growth through upselling, events, and local marketing.
- Manage and optimize food & beverage costs, wastage, and inventory.
- Own monthly P&L;, budgeting, and profitability targets.
- Improve key metrics: APC, footfall, repeat guests, and contribution margins.

3. Guest Experience Excellence
- Act as the face of Basko on the floor during peak hours.




- Handle VIP guests, complaints, and service recovery.
- Build a solid repeat customer base and community connect.
- Maintain premium ambience and service energy.

4. Team Leadership & Culture
- Hire, train, and mentor FOH and BOH teams.
- Build a high-energy, hospitality-first culture.
- Manage staff scheduling, productivity, and performance reviews.
- Reduce attrition and build second-line leadership.

5. Bar & Beverage Focus
- Ensure bar profitability and beverage program execution.
- Monitor pour cost, wastage, and beverage inventory.
- Support new menu launches and bar activations.

6. Marketing & Local Store Growth
- Execute local marketing initiatives and partnerships.
- Support events, live nights, and community engagement.
- Work closely with central marketing for campaigns.
