Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall stores, warehouses, inventory, and material control for the steel plant.
- Handle raw materials, consumables, spares, MRO, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, identification, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, FIFO, and cycle counting.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Finance, Quality, and Logistics.
- Monitor stock aging, slow/non-moving items, shortages, and excess inventory.
- Ensure proper ERP/SAP-based inventory management and MIS reporting.
- Implement 5S, safety, SOPs, and internal control systems in stores.
- Lead the stores team .

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma; B.E./B.Tech preferred.
- 07-15 years experience in stores/warehouses, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, ERP/SAP, material management, and warehouse operations.
- Valuable leadership, analytical, and coordination skills.
