Role Description The Zonal Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi, responsible for driving business growth and managing operations across the assigned zone. In this role, the individual will oversee branch and partner performance, set sales targets, and monitor achievement against key metrics. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring sales teams, coordinating with channel partners, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Zonal

Head will analyze market trends, develop local strategies for customer acquisition and retention, and support the rollout of recent products and initiatives.



The position also involves regular reporting to senior leadership, managing budgets, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture across the zone.

Qualifications

- Strong sales leadership and people management skills, with experience leading multi-location teams.
- Proficiency in business development, partner relationship management, and customer engagement within financial services or related sectors.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and use insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of loan products, retail finance, or banking operations (experience in loan distribution is an advantage).
- Proven experience in a regional or zonal management role, preferably in financial services, FMCG, or other distribution-led businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work, frequent intra-zone travel, and working in a target-driven environment.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and customer-first practices.
