Role Description The WTP (Water Treatment Plant) Head is responsible for overseeing the complete operation and maintenance of the water treatment facilities supporting ethanol production. This full-time, on-site role, based in Agar Malwa district, includes planning and supervising daily plant activities, monitoring water quality, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The WTP Head will manage the team, allocate resources, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, implementing standard operating procedures, and collaborating with production, utilities,



and EHS teams to support productive, sustainable operations.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of water and effluent treatment processes, including filtration, RO, softening, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Experience in operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps, valves, instrumentation, control panels, and other WTP-related equipment.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements relevant to industrial water and effluent treatment.
- Ability to lead and supervise plant operators and technicians, including workforce planning, training, and performance monitoring.
- Competence in monitoring process parameters, analyzing water quality reports, and implementing corrective actions for process optimization.
- Good organizational and documentation skills for maintaining logs, maintenance records, and reporting to management and regulatory bodies.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work closely with production, utilities, and EHS teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in WTP/ETP operations within ethanol, distillery, chemical, or similar process industries preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Agar Malwa district and to be available for shift or emergency support as required.
