Role Description The Welder role at ESTAR ENGINEERS PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Welder will perform day-to-day welding tasks for the fabrication and assembly of components used in automatic multi-level car and bike parking systems.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, and executing welding operations in accordance with safety and quality standards. The role involves inspecting welds, performing basic repairs or rework,



and coordinating with engineers, fabricators, and supervisors to meet project timelines. The Welder will also maintain tools and equipment, follow workplace safety procedures, and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.

Qualifications

- Robust welding skills, including proficiency in Arc Welding and general Welding techniques.
- Hands-on experience with TIG Welding and MIG Welding for structural and precision components.
- Knowledge of materials used in fabrication, such as different grades of steel and other metals.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with safety standards and safe handling of welding tools, equipment, and materials.
- Previous experience in industrial fabrication, mechanical structures, or automotive-related projects is beneficial.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in welding or fabrication from a recognized institution.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a workshop environment, with attention to detail and quality.
