The position will be responsible for Cash Management service line deliveries across regions consisting of multiple markets (countries) as per the Service Level Agreement with Global Business Services. The role would require him / her to reconcile and report banking transactions, accounting and related Financial reporting for the market which includes timely book closure in Oracle Financials in accordance with Local Accounting Guidelines, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles); ensure compliance with general internal controls, including those derived from the SOX Law (Sarbanes Oxley Act), as well as the established procedures and policies of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cash management activities over Oracle Financials Cash Management module ensuring automated Bank reconciliations are current.
- Governance over receipt of bank statements, ensuring interface into accounting systems and system enabled reconciliations.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for Collection and Payment Bank accounts in compliance with Policy and Standard Operating Procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Research on unreconciled items and collaborate with market participants for its resolutions. Timely updation of trackers, tools, workflows and systems to ensure the information is sent to the stakeholders on timely basis and evokes a timely response towards resolution.
- Perform reporting and dashboards that accurately reflects the banking transactions and un-reconciled items requiring resolution
- Initiate and account for Banking transactions in compliance with policy.
- Perform month end closing activities including closure of AR and AP modules and all activities necessary to close Cash management activities.
