Established in 1997, we work across 25 states through a network of partner organisations, reaching over 84,000 people. Our work focuses on early intervention, education, vocational training, livelihood support, capacity building, and advocacy so that persons with deafblindness can become full and active members of society.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Accounts and Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Ahmedabad. This is a hands-on learning prospect to support day-to-day accounting operations, documentation,



and compliance activities that enable our programmes for persons with deafblindness and multiple disabilities.

You will work closely with the Accounts/Finance team and gain practical exposure to NGO finance systems, statutory compliance, and audit processes in a rights-based development organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing vouchers, payment documents, and supporting documentation.
- Support cash and bank payment processing and routine banking tasks (including online transactions).
- Help maintain accurate records of contracts, advances, and related documentation.
- Assist with advance settlements and related follow-ups.
- Support internal and annual audit preparedness through systematic documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist in data entry, basic reconciliations, and maintaining books of accounts under guidance.
