WordPress Web Tester / QA Tester

Work Mode: Remote / Hybrid / On-site

Location: Ernakulam, Kochi

About the Role

We are looking for a WordPress Web Tester / QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, usability, performance, and responsiveness of WordPress websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in manual testing, website testing, WordPress QA, cross-browser testing, responsive testing, UI/UX evaluation, and detailed bug reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of WordPress websites, web pages, features, forms, plugins, themes, and integrations, and rectify issues.
- Create and execute structured test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and QA checklists.
- Conduct functional testing to verify that website features work according to requirements.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Validate responsive web design and ensure consistent layouts across different screen sizes and resolutions.
- Conduct UI/UX testing to identify usability, navigation, layout, visual, and accessibility issues.
- Test WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, menus, forms, media, links, search functionality, and content.
- Identify, document, and track defects using detailed bug reports, actual results, screenshots, and technical information.




- Perform website compatibility testing, usability testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience as a Web Tester, QA Tester, Software Tester, Website Tester, WordPress QA Tester with Hands-on experience with WordPress website testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, and compatibility testing.
- Experience with cross-browser testing and responsive website testing.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
- Ability to evaluate UI/UX, website usability, navigation, layout, and visual consistency.
- Strong defect identification, documentation, and bug reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of API testing or automation testing is an advantage.
