Job Title: Transport Incharge

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day transportation activities and vehicle deployment.
- Plan and monitor employee bus routes and logistics transportation schedules.
- Supervise drivers and transport staff, ensuring discipline and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, repairs, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, and pollution certificates.
- Coordinate with transport contractors and vendors for vehicle availability and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, road safety norms, and company policies.
- Maintain transport records, fuel consumption data, vehicle performance reports, and driver attendance.
- Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Handle breakdowns, emergencies, and transportation-related issues promptly.
- Conduct periodic vehicle inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure timely renewal of all statutory transport documents.
- Prepare MIS reports related to transport operations, utilization, expenses, and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Any Graduate / Diploma.




- Additional certification in Logistics, Fleet Management, or Transport Operations is preferred.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of fleet management and transport operations.
- Familiarity with transport laws, vehicle documentation, and statutory compliance.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

Industry Experience

- 8 to 15 years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, or administration functions within manufacturing, textile, FMCG, or industrial organizations.

Key Requirements

- Experience in handling employee transportation and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles, drivers, and transport vendors.
- Willingness to handle emergencies and work beyond regular hours when required.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and cost optimization

Pay: ₹20,650.26 - ₹48,789.45 per month
