Role Description This remote Graphic Designer internship role focuses on creating visual content that supports Samikaran India’s communication and training initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include designing social media graphics, presentations, and digital assets aligned with the organization’s brand guidelines. The intern will collaborate with program and communications teams to translate messages into engaging visual stories, refine design concepts based on feedback, and prepare files for online publishing.

Responsibilities also include experimenting with layouts and typography, maintaining design consistency across platforms, and contributing creative ideas to enhance learner engagement.



This is a structured internship role with opportunities to build a portfolio and gain experience in purpose-driven design.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clean, engaging visual content for digital channels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding, including an understanding of visual identity, brand consistency, and basic brand guidelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Typography, including selecting and pairing typefaces for readability and impact.
- Basic proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
- Robust attention to detail, ability to follow briefs, and openness to constructive feedback.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Interest in social impact, education, or community development; prior portfolio or examples of design work are highly beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or having completed studies in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
