About SEVA

Social Empowerment & Voluntary Action (SEVA) is a non-profit organisation working to improve the lives of vulnerable and underserved communities through programmes in child protection, education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, livelihood development, WASH, climate action, disaster management and community development.

Position Summary

SEVA is looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers who want to contribute to social development initiatives and gain practical experience in the development sector. Volunteers will support programme activities, community engagement, awareness campaigns, documentation, outreach and other organizational activities based on their skills and interests.

Key Responsibilities

- Support SEVA’s community outreach and awareness activities.
- Assist in organizing workshops, campaigns, events and community programmes.
- Engage with community members, youth, children, women and other stakeholders under programme guidance.
- Support data collection, surveys, field visits and beneficiary feedback activities.
- Assist project teams with documentation, photographs, reports and activity records.
- Support social media, digital communication and awareness campaigns.
- Help mobilize community members and volunteers for programme activities.
- Assist in research, information collection and preparation of programme materials.




- Support fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives through ethical outreach and awareness activities.
- Perform other tasks related to SEVA’s programmes as assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Skills & Qualities

- Passion for social development and community service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work with diverse communities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Responsible, punctual and committed towards assigned tasks.
- Students, fresh graduates and working professionals interested in social development are encouraged to apply.
