About the Role

The Dean will provide strategic and academic leadership, driving
curriculum innovation, faculty excellence, research, industry engagement, internationalisation, technology, sustainability and student outcomes
.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead academic strategy, programme quality and growth of the Fashion Design portfolio.
- Drive curriculum innovation across
digital fashion, AI, CLO 3D, sustainable fashion, textiles, communication, merchandising and entrepreneurship
.
- Build a strong faculty ecosystem and promote research, publications, design practice and innovation.
- Develop partnerships with
fashion houses, apparel/textile companies, luxury brands, retailers, fashion-tech firms and design studios
.
- Strengthen internships, live projects, placements, competitions, showcases and entrepreneurship.




- Build international academic and industry collaborations.
- Develop recent programmes, Centres of Excellence and signature initiatives.
- Strengthen accreditation, rankings, institutional visibility and academic reputation.
- Embed
sustainability, Indian crafts and textile heritage
into Fashion Design education.

Ideal Candidate
- Ph.D. in Fashion Design, Design, Textile, Apparel or related discipline.
- 15+ years' experience, including substantial higher education exposure.
- Leadership experience as
Dean, Director, Principal, HoD or equivalent
.
- Strong academic, research and institutional leadership credentials.
- Expertise in contemporary Fashion Design education and strong industry networks.
- Experience in curriculum development, faculty leadership and academic innovation.
- International exposure preferred.
