- Provide quality nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols and standards.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, clinical condition, intake/output and other relevant observations.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids and other treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Assist doctors during procedures, examinations and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient nursing records and documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of infection control and patient safety practices.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and provide immediate nursing assistance.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment, medication, hygiene and general care.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients during shift changes.
- Maintain cleanliness, availability and proper handling of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs and ethical standards.
