Symbiosis Skills and Professional University invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in the following specializations:
- Cyber Security
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML)
- Data Science
Eligibility & Education
- Ph.D. in Cyber Security / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Computer Science / Information Technology or a relevant discipline is mandatory.
- BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / BCA / MCA in relevant CS/IT discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience.
- First-class academic record at Bachelor’s/Master’s level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions as per the academic schedule.
- Contribute to curriculum development and syllabus enrichment.
- Conduct examinations, evaluation and project assessment.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
- Participate in research, publications, sponsored projects, conferences and seminars.
- Develop industry linkages and support student internships and placements.
- Guide students in projects, research work and technical presentations.
- Contribute to academic administration, laboratory activities and university events.
- Promote cutting-edge teaching methodologies and industry-oriented learning.
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the University management.
Location: SSPU, Kiwale, Pune, Maharashtra
Candidates with strong academic, teaching and research experience specifically in Cyber Security or AI/ML are encouraged to apply.
