Position: Maintenance Head

Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of assembly lines, machines, utilities, electrical systems and plant equipment.
- Ensure high machine availability, OEE improvement, MTBF/MTTR performance and minimum production downtime.
- Drive RCA, 8D, Why-Why analysis, Kaizen and continuous improvement for recurring equipment failures.
- Manage maintenance of automated assembly lines, testing equipment, PLCs, sensors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, electrical panels and utilities.
- Drive TPM, Pokayoke, energy optimization and maintenance cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure availability and optimum inventory of critical spares, including localization and alternate-source development.
- Support recent machine installation, commissioning, automation projects and capacity expansion.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, EHS,



statutory and customer audit requirements.
- Lead, develop and train the maintenance team and ensure effective manpower utilization.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchase, EHS and external vendors for smooth plant operations.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Electronics.
- Experience: 13–20 years in automotive manufacturing / plant maintenance, preferably in automotive lighting or assembly operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in automation, PLC, electrical systems, assembly machines and utilities.
- Knowledge of TPM, OEE, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, RCA, FMEA and Kaizen.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, vendor-management and team-management skills.
- Experience with IATF 16949 and EHS/statutory compliance preferred.
