We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis I – Tandoor to support our culinary team in delivering authentic, high-quality Indian tandoor preparations. The role requires good knowledge of tandoor operations, strong kitchen discipline, and a commitment to food quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook tandoor dishes including naan, roti, kebabs, tikka and other Indian specialities as per standard recipes.
- Handle mise en place, marination, skewering, dough preparation and portioning for the tandoor section.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor while ensuring proper temperature control and consistent cooking.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion size and presentation.
- Ensure the tandoor section is clean, organised and fully prepared before and during service.
- Follow established food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor stock, minimise wastage and follow proper storage and FIFO practices.
- Coordinate effectively with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen sections for smooth service.




- Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain professional grooming, discipline and teamwork in accordance with resort standards.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.

Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a hotel, resort or reputed restaurant.
- Good knowledge of Indian Tandoor cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
- Hands-on experience with tandoor operation, naan/roti preparation, kebabs and marinades.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, safety and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.
- Strong teamwork, discipline and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
