Role & responsibilities
- Receive incoming raw materials, bought-out items, consumables, and finished goods.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Ensure proper identification, storage, preservation, and handling of inventory.
- Issue materials to production as per approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and physical registers.
- Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase department for replenishment.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward material movement.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch departments for smooth material flow.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store area.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving,



and obsolete inventory and submit periodic reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and audit requirements.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary records and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).
- Understanding of GRN, MRS, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Positive communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of valve manufacturing components and engineering materials is preferred
