Role Description

As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in creating engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns, websites, advertisements, and brand communication. This role requires someone who understands visual storytelling, has a strong eye for detail, and can turn raw footage and creative ideas into compelling content.

You will work closely with creative, content, design, and marketing teams to develop video content that is engaging, visually strong, and aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, presentations, ads, and brand communication.
- Turn raw footage, scripts, and creative concepts into engaging visual stories.
- Work on cuts, pacing, transitions, sound, colour, and overall visual flow.
- Create titles, subtitles, graphics, transitions, and basic visual effects where required.
- Optimise video content for different platforms, formats, durations, and aspect ratios.
- Collaborate with creative, content, design, and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives.
- Ensure all video content is consistent with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple creative projects while meeting timelines and quality standards.
- Organise project files, footage, assets, and exports to maintain an efficient creative workflow.
- Stay updated with video editing,



content creation, social media trends, and emerging creative tools.
- Contribute creative ideas that improve the quality, engagement, and effectiveness of video content.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant certification in Animation, Film & Television, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Visual Arts, Design, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in video editing.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work is required.
- Relevant internship, freelance, academic, or personal project experience is a plus.
