About the RoleWe are looking for a fast, creative and highly motivated Video Editor to work directly with a founder and build a consistent content engine across Instagram and YouTube.

The role will involve turning raw daily footage into engaging short-form content and longer-form YouTube videos.

You will be responsible for taking raw footage → story → edit → final published video.

What You'll EditInstagram

- ~7 × 60-second founder vlogs per week
- Reels / short-form content
- Behind-the-scenes business content
- Lifestyle, travel and day-in-the-life content

YouTube

- ~2 × 10–15 minute videos per week
- Longer-form founder/business vlogs
- Repurposing long-form footage into Shorts/Reels

Responsibilities
- Organize and review large amounts of raw footage
- Identify the strongest moments and build a compelling story
- Create fast-paced, engaging edits optimized for retention
- Add subtitles/captions, music, sound effects and basic sound design
- Create clean transitions and simple motion graphics where appropriate
- Color correct and maintain a consistent visual style
- Create thumbnails where required
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips
- Maintain a consistent editing style across all content
- Manage files and editing projects efficiently
- Turn around daily content quickly and reliably
- Work directly with the founder to continuously improve the content style

What We're Looking ForMust have:

- Strong editing skills




- Excellent sense of pacing and storytelling
- Understanding of Instagram/YouTube content
- Ability to make boring footage interesting
- Strong attention to detail
- Fast turnaround
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working with large volumes of footage

Software:

- Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut
- After Effects is a plus, but not required

- Watches a lot of YouTube and Instagram content
- Understands what makes people stop scrolling
- Naturally understands modern creator editing
- Can recognize a good story without being told exactly how to cut it
- Is obsessed with improving retention
- Can work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Wants to grow alongside a creator/founder and take ownership of the content

You don't need to be a professional filmmaker. We're looking for someone who understands modern internet content.

Working StyleThis is a hands-on full-time role working closely with the founder.

You will receive raw footage on an ongoing basis and will be responsible for turning it into finished content.

The goal is to develop a repeatable editing system and recognizable visual style, rather than reinventing every video from scratch.
