Countless people would agree that active Compassion to all Life (Jeeva Karunya) and Soul Unity (Anma Neya Orumaipadu) can solve 99.9% of all living being sufferings.

Those were the 2 core pillars of Ramalinga Swamigal, lovingly known as Vallalar, a revolutionary figure of the 19th century.

Vallalar, said that those who show compassion to ALL life, no problems or sufferings will touch them.

This does not apply to a single person, but also to countries and our whole world.

The only way to heal the planet is to spread the doctrine of compassion (Jeeva Karunyam) and Soul Oneness (Atma Neya Orumaipadu) worldwide.

Indeed, for a better world, compassion and a sense of unity towards all living beings should be taught in schools.

We are Sanmarkkam Life, a non-profit project and our mission is to spread the doctrine of Compassion worldwide.

Specifically, we are diffusing the wisdom of Ramalinga Swamigal (Vallalar), one of the most remarkable spiritual and humanitarian figures of the 19th century. His doctrine of Jeeva Karunyam - active compassion for all living beings - is the foundation of everything we do: free publications, free community centers, free plant-based food service, and free global education.

EVERYONE can contribute, regardless of their caste, creed, nationality, age etc.

We only require you to:

✅ Dedicate a few hours of work weekly for the project. (we won't pressure to contribute, but that's our ideal time commitment)

✅ Do work without expectation of reward, as these volunteers truly do God's work.

At the moment, we are looking for the following:

Video Editing Alchemist

We are producing short vertical videos that carry Vallalar's teachings of compassion to a global audience on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Every video goes out crediting you by name, with your LinkedIn or website, so the work builds your portfolio while it spreads the message. We need several editors now.

? What You Will Do

Edit short vertical videos (1080x1920 at 30 fps) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — currently 2 to 4 per week

Cut assigned segments of our longer series pieces when those are running,



following the shot list and timecodes in the shared script

Apply subtitles, transitions, sound design, music, and voiceover to the brand standard

Export in the correct aspect ratio and spec for each platform

Collaborate with the content team on hooks, messaging, and scripting

Deliver on the date you agreed, and raise a blocker early rather than going quiet

? What We Require A computer or a phone that can run an editor. A laptop or desktop makes this far easier, but a phone is enough to start.

A stable internet connection — you will be pulling footage down and pushing exports back up

At least 4 hours a week you can genuinely give

Working English, written and spoken A hunger to make the world a better place by spreading compassion. This is the one requirement we will not waive.

Experience in a desktop editor: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut A portfolio, a reel, or two or three finished pieces we can watch A feel for the pacing and hooks of vertical 9:16 short-form video

Comfort with AI-assisted production tools

Any existing interest in Vallalar, Siddha thought, or Tamil literature
