What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the end-to-end technology infrastructure ecosystem for Prudential India as part of the CTO organization, spanning workplace technology, platforms, systems, cloud connectivity, operational tools, and site technology enablement.
- Own infrastructure readiness and operational excellence for the Delhi location, ensuring the environment is secure, scalable, resilient, compliant, and aligned with enterprise technology standards and architecture.
- Partner across enterprise technology, business technology offices, security, risk, facilities,
vendors, and local business teams to coordinate infrastructure delivery, adoption, support, and issue resolution.
- Provide leadership across all levels of infrastructure operations, from hands-on technical problem solving and service reliability to ecosystem planning, governance, vendor oversight, and executive stakeholder communication.
- Serve as a change agent for Prudential India by driving modernization, standardization, automation, process discipline, and continuous improvement across the local technology operating model.
- Assess current and emerging infrastructure needs across departments and growth plans, translating business requirements into practical technology roadmaps, investment priorities, and delivery plans.
- Monitor performance, service health, risk indicators, asset utilization, and user experience metrics to identify improvement opportunities and guide operational and investment decisions.
- Coordinate regular maintenance, upgrades, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and resilience activities across hardware, software, network, endpoint, collaboration, and workplace technology environments.
- Help establish and scale technology capabilities for new or expanding teams and locations, ensuring smooth onboarding, reliable connectivity, effective support models, and minimal business disruption.
- Influence technology-related decisions with strong visibility across the organization, navigating global interdependencies, cultural nuances, local operating needs, and enterprise governance expectations.
- Build trusted partnerships and drive accountability across internal teams and external providers to deliver reliable services, improve controls, resolve complex issues, and support future growth.
- Champion a customer-focused technology culture that improves productivity, accelerates adoption of new tools such as AI, and enables employees to do their best work in a secure and effective environment.
- Budget and financial accountability with responsibility for budget ownership, investment planning and cost management.
- Workforce planning and people leadership encompassing team growth planning, recruitment, talent development and people management.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master degree preferred). 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technology operations roles.
- Experience supporting multisite environments and/or technology enablement during facility expansions strongly preferred.
- Expertise in network infrastructure, hardware/software systems, and enterprise IT environments.
- Proven capability to maintain secure, scalable, and reliable technology ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of performance monitoring tools, system analytics, and IT service management practices.
- Technical Agility: Ability to evolve secure and scalable infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards.
- Strategic Thinking: Evaluates technology needs and trends to support organizational goals and productivity.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Works effectively across teams to implement solutions and resolve challenges.
- Operational Leadership: Proactively leads improvements that optimize performance and support business growth.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to support and train end users.
