We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our controls hub team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Leading the design and development of modern full-stack applications supporting sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
- Building scalable, real-time solutions capable of processing large transaction volumes while maintaining high availability and low latency.
- Partnering closely with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams to deliver regulatory and business-critical capabilities.
- Developing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures that integrate with enterprise payment and screening platforms.
- Driving modernization initiatives including cloud-native development, containerization, automation, and platform observability.
- Ensuring software quality through robust testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Participating in architecture and design reviews, influencing strategic technology decisions across the Payments Enablement Platform.
- Supporting the delivery of solutions that satisfy regulatory obligations related to sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and introducing innovations that improve operational efficiency and system resiliency.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular Python (preferred)
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL platforms.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
