The company is involved in the collection, procurement and processing of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) for biofuel production.

Job PurposeWe are looking for a Purchase Executive – Used Cooking Oil who will be responsible for sourcing UCO, developing suppliers and aggregators, negotiating purchase prices, and ensuring a consistent supply of quality UCO across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop current UCO suppliers, aggregators, restaurants, hotels, caterers and food businesses.
- Build and maintain a strong supplier network for regular UCO procurement.
- Negotiate purchase price, quantity, payment terms and collection arrangements with suppliers.
- Monitor UCO market prices and competitor buying rates.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with the company's quality and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with UCO collection teams, transporters and logistics partners for timely pickup.
- Verify supplier documentation, including applicable FSSAI, GST, KYC and RUCO-related documents.
- Maintain complete records of suppliers, purchase rates, quantities and collection locations.
- Coordinate with the quality/lab team for UCO testing and quality verification.
- Track daily and monthly procurement volumes against assigned targets.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply.
- Develop suppliers in new cities and territories as per business requirements.
- Resolve issues related to quality, quantity, pricing, pickup and payments.




- Coordinate with accounts for supplier payments and reconciliation.
- Prepare daily/weekly procurement reports for management.
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate for long-term procurement arrangements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills Required
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in purchase, procurement, sourcing or vendor management.
- Ability to develop and manage a large supplier network.
- Good understanding of UCO, edible oil, waste oil or biofuel industry will be an advantage.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets and CRM/ERP systems.
- Analytical and commercially sound approach.
- Ability to work with targets and manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for supplier development and market visits.

QualificationGraduate in any discipline. MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales or related fields will be an added advantage.

Preferred CandidateThe ideal candidate should be highly proactive, commercially sharp and target-oriented, with the ability to independently develop UCO suppliers and negotiate competitive procurement rates. Experience with Used Cooking Oil (UCO), RUCO, waste oil collection, edible oil, biofuel or renewable energy will be strongly preferred.

CompensationSalary: As per experience and industry standards
