Role Description

The Sauce Chef is responsible for preparing, tasting, and refining a variety of sauces that complement the café’s baked items, brunch dishes, and savory offerings. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing sauce recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation, managing mise en place for sauces, and maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. The role also involves collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new sauce ideas, adjusting recipes based on feedback,



and helping with inventory management for sauce ingredients. This is a full-time, in office role based at Sabali Cafe in Manali, requiring regular presence during operating hours and active participation in daily service.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in culinary techniques, with specific experience in sauce preparation, flavor balancing, and recipe execution.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and proper storage of ingredients and prepared sauces.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, manage time well, and handle multiple sauce preparations during service.
- Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills to coordinate with chefs, bakers, and service staff.
- Attention to detail in plating, consistency, and presentation of sauces to align with Sabali Cafe’s quality standards.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or professional kitchen is highly
