ImmersiWorks Games is building movement-first immersive gaming experiences where players physically interact with virtual worlds projected around them without headsets or handheld controllers.

We’re looking for a Unity Game Developer Intern to join us as we move toward our first launch. You will work closely with our Senior Game Developer and get hands-on experience building a first-of-its-kind Mixed Reality experience.

What you'll do

- Build simple gameplay.
- Work on an existing Unity project with gameplay prototypes already built.
- Integrate gameplay with our 3D environments, interactions, animations and VFX.
- Implement and refine gameplay features.
- Debug and resolve gameplay and integration issues.
- Work with existing code, scenes and prefabs.
- Take ownership of well-defined tasks and gradually work with limited supervision.
- Collaborate closely with our Lead Unity Developer and Art team.

What we're looking for

Must have:

- Working knowledge of Unity and C#.
- Hands-on experience building projects in Unity. Personal, academic or game jam projects count.
- Ability to understand and modify existing Unity code.
- Basic gameplay programming and debugging skills.




- Curiosity and hunger to learn.
- Proactive problem-solving - You should be comfortable figuring things out before asking for help.
- Ability to clearly explain what you built and why you built it that way.
- Willingness to work on integration and debugging, not just gameplay features.

Good to have:

- Basic animation knowledge.
- Basic understanding of optimization and performance.
- Familiarity with Unity Addressables.
- VFX / particle systems experience.
- Git / version control experience.

Who we're looking for

You should already have working knowledge of Unity to build things. We’ll guide you to learn our project - but we’re looking for someone who can learn quickly, take initiative, and become productive with limited day-to-day guidance.

Location: Bengaluru

Stipend: It is a paid internship

Full-time prospect: Strong performers may be considered for a permanent full-time position after the internship.
