Job Summary The Transport Incharge will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely operation of the school's transportation system. The role involves managing school buses, drivers, attendants, routes, student pickup/drop schedules, vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and coordination with parents, staff, and transport vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the school's daily bus transportation operations for students and staff.
- Plan and monitor bus routes, stops, timings, and vehicle deployment.
- Ensure students are picked up and dropped off safely and on time.
- Supervise school bus drivers, attendants, and transport staff.
- Coordinate with parents regarding transport-related queries, route changes, delays, and complaints.
- Monitor buses through GPS/CCTV or other transport monitoring systems.
- Ensure all buses are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing,



repairs, and emergency breakdown support.
- Maintain records of vehicle fitness, insurance, permits, pollution certificates, licenses, and other required documents.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Graduate preferred; diploma/certification in transport, logistics, administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Good knowledge of Gurugram and Delhi-NCR routes.
- Strong knowledge of school bus safety and student transportation procedures.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, GPS, and transport management systems.
- Robust problem-solving and emergency-management skills.

Salary : 40,000/- to 45,000/-
