220 kV Transmission Line Required Knowledge

- Hands-on experience in 220 kV transmission line project execution.

- Knowledge of 220 kV tower types, tower erection, and foundation works.

- Knowledge of 220 kV conductor, earth wire, and OPGW installation.

- Understanding of conductor stringing, sagging, tensioning, and clipping.

- Knowledge of 220 kV transmission line route survey and Right of Way (RoW) coordination.

- Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, tower drawings, foundation drawings, and line profiles.

- Knowledge of electrical clearances and safety requirements for 220 kV lines.

- Experience in coordinating with DISCOM/TRANSCO/Power Grid/client and consultants.

- Knowledge of inspection, testing, quality requirements, and commissioning activities.

- Solid understanding of HSE requirements for high-voltage transmission line works.

- Ability to manage contractors, site engineers, manpower, materials, and project schedules.

- Experience in resolving site-level technical and execution issues related to 220 kV transmission lines.
