Role & responsibilities

Payroll Accounting Assistance
- Prepare and post payroll-related accounting entries, including cost bookings, journal vouchers (JV), and payroll accounting transactions.
- Process payroll-related provision entries for Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Variable Compensation Schemes (VCS), Variable Pay Incentives (VPI), Bonus, and Long Service Awards (LSA).
- Reconcile payroll accounts, salary payable accounts, and statutory liability accounts monthly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll accounting.
- Maintain payroll records and support documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and circulate regular payroll MIS reports, including headcount reports, salary cost analysis, and deduction summaries.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing current payroll data against previous periods and highlighting significant changes.
- Develop, maintain, and update payroll dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools using Excel.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness,



and timely delivery of payroll-related reports.

Loan Portfolio Management
- Administer the employee loan portfolio, including creation, maintenance, and monitoring of loan records.
- Perform monthly loan reconciliations and prepare loan repayment schedules.
- Prepare and update loan-related MIS reports in compliance with IND AS requirements.
- Ensure accurate accounting, tracking, and reporting of employee loan transactions.
