Role Description This full-time Ticketing Agent role is an on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Ticketing

Agent will manage daily ticket sales and reservations for various travel services, including flights, trains, buses, and related travel products.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with booking options, providing accurate fare and schedule information, handling changes and cancellations, and ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and industry standards. The role involves responding to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and via digital channels,



maintaining up-to-date records in booking systems, and collaborating with the sales team to support promotional activities and meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Ticket Sales and Sales, with the ability to meet targets and upsell relevant travel services.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, including clear, respectful interaction with diverse customers.
- Experience handling Reservations, including creating, modifying, and canceling bookings in ticketing or GDS systems.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and online booking platforms; familiarity with travel or airline ticketing systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area and maintain reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Prior experience in travel, hospitality, or related customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in travel or tourism is a plus.
