Role Description The Telemarketer role at Svvayam is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce Svvayam’s bespoke pooja room solutions, explain product features, and generate interest. The Telemarketer will qualify leads, schedule appointments for the sales or design team, and follow up on inquiries to support the sales cycle.

Daily tasks include maintaining accurate call records, updating customer information in the CRM, and meeting call and conversion targets.



The Telemarketer will also respond to basic customer questions, share promotional information, and collaborate with team members to improve call scripts and outreach strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport and handle inquiries professionally.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly present offerings and engage diverse customers.
- Experience with appointment scheduling and follow-up to support the sales and design teams’ calendars.
- Sales skills, including lead qualification, objection handling, and basic upselling or cross-selling.
- Comfort with phone-based work and high call volumes, with the ability to stay focused and organized.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or call-tracking tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Previous telemarketing, call center, or inside sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is an advantage.
