Quality Engineer DG Set Installation

Location: Mumbai, Noida

Job Purpose

To ensure quality compliance during installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of Diesel Generator (DG) sets as per approved drawings, technical specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards. The Quality Engineer will support the Erection Head in maintaining high installation standards and achieving zero rework.

Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 37 years of experience in DG set installation or power project QA/QC
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Required Skills
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of DG set technical specifications




- Familiarity with testing instruments (Megger, torque wrench, alignment tools)
- Solid documentation and reporting skills
- Problem-solving and analytical ability

Preferred Certifications
- Internal Auditor – ISO 9001
- Six Sigma (added advantage)
- QA/QC certification in Mechanical/Electrical works

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Zero rework due to quality failure
- 100% ITP compliance
- Timely closure of NCRs
- Successful first-time client inspection approval
- Accurate documentation and handover
