Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Engineer for our Solar EPC business. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, customer visits, site surveys, solar plant estimation, BoM preparation, quotation preparation and order follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on solar project leads.
- Visit customer sites and conduct solar feasibility/site surveys.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Prepare solar system sizing, BoM, costing and quotations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement and execution teams.
- Handle customer meetings, technical discussions and negotiations.
- Follow up from enquiry to order closure.
- Achieve assigned business development/sales targets.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems and electrical systems.
- Experience in site survey, BoM, estimation and solar EPC preferred.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; AutoCAD/solar design software is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for customer/site visits.
