Qualification:Engineering or Science Graduate. Certification in Quality Management.
6- 10 years experience handling of quality control in the ferro alloy industry, in Merchant Export Houses. Experience of handling testing agencies and quality checks forexport of ferro alloys and other minerals. Knowledge of computer with valuable knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
Job Description-
- Supplier Quality Management including conducting supplier quality audits, establish supplier-wise quality ratings, monitoring quality consistency across different lots/shipments, identify recurring supplier quality problems and initiate corrective action.
- Establish and supervise a robust inspection protocol through independent inspection agencies
- Ensure that all export/domestic shipment has a complete quality control trail.
- Maintain a customer-wise data base of historical quality performance, and lead resolution of quality disputes based on technical findings
- Conduct periodical inspection of stocks in case stocks are in the stock yard for more than 1 month
- Develop an annual supplier audit programme
