Job Description for Analyst

The Item Planning & Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle across Kroger systems, ensuring accurate item setup, maintenance, sellability, data quality, and store support. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support merchandising and eCommerce operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of product master data, including item setup, maintenance, attribute management, sellability, and data governance.
- Create, maintain, and update item records while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with business standards.
- Process item maintenance requests, recent item creation,



and product attribute updates within defined SLAs.
- Support eCommerce and online sellability initiatives through timely item record updates and validations.
- Manage product delisting activities and coordinate with merchandising and planogram teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Investigate and resolve item setup and store support issues through ticket management and stakeholder coordination.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product information.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, processes, and operational efficiency.
- Escalate risks and issues that may impact planogram execution, item availability, or business timelines.
- Prepare operational reports and track productivity, quality, and SLA performance metrics.
