Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile
- Manage day-to-day operations of the project store.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances.
- Verify all incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of construction materials.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate timely material requisitions.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the Procurement, Site Engineering, Accounts, and Project teams for smooth material movement.
- Maintain Material Inward Register, Issue Register, Gate Pass Register, and Inventory Reports.




- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper inventory management practices.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged materials and submit reports to management.
- Supervise store assistants and ensure discipline and housekeeping within the store.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Coordinate with vendors during material delivery and resolve quantity or quality discrepancies.
