Responsibilities
- Perform reactions pertaining to organic synthetic chemistry.
- Conduct separation / purification techniques such as distillation, crystallization, extraction, chromatography etc.
- Operation of equipment to aid in chemical synthesis, isolation, and purification, under the direction of supervisor.
- Interpretation spectral data obtained for analytical techniques like NMR, MS, IR, HPLC, and GC etc.
- Regular lab maintenance and documentation of work in laboratory notebook.
- Follow safe lab practices and SOPs.

Requirements

· BSc or MSc in organic chemistry, fresher preferred.

· Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in organic chemistry reactions, reaction mechanisms and awareness of recent developments in the literature.

· Solid theoretical knowledge in analytical chemistry.

· Proficient computer literate.

· Motivated team player and ability to perform individually.

· Strong attention to details, excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills are essential.
