The Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) Organization is an independent risk management function, led by the Chief Risk Officer, with the objective of ensuring that American Express operates in a secure, sound, and fully compliant manner with all applicable regulatory expectations. Global Risk & Compliance creates and maintains the overall risk management framework, performs independent risk management assessments, and monitors applicable risks. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Associate Project Manager to join the GRC Products and Capabilities team in GRC. The GRC Platforms and Capabilities is responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of large-scale platforms and associated centers of excellence to empower risk management teams in GRC and the Company to effectively manage risk. Several of these projects are categorized as Big Bets and are pivotal to the Companys success.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Business Management/Administration, Information Systems Technology or related field
- Experience in project/program management; experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments strongly preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work with Engineers, Product Managers and Vendors to achieve project goals

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to facilitate meetings and discussions of any technical challenges and systems design
- Ability to collaborate across teams and bring different opinions to consensus
- Ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a deadline-driven work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging cross-functional stake
