1.JOB PURPOSE:

To operate and oversee the daily functioning of the pre-mix plant machinery to ensure consistent and accurate blending of ingredients as per product standards. The Pre-Mix Plant Operator plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, efficiency and hygiene of the plant processes, while complying with operational and safety standards required in food manufacturing.

2.CORE JOB AREA JOB REPOSIBILITIES

Machine Operation and Control

-Operate and monitor pre-mix machinery including blenders, feeders and conveyors.

-Adjust process parameters based on product requirements.

Batch Preparation

-Measure and load raw materials accurately according to batch formulations.

-Ensure consistency and quality in every blend.

Hygiene Cleanliness

-Follow standard cleaning protocols during and after operations to maintain hygiene and avoid cross-contamination.

Coordination with Quality

-Collect in-process samples and coordinate with quality control team for batch approval.

-Make necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Troubleshooting





-Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.

-Perform minor fixes if necessary to avoid downtime.

Compliance Safety

-Adhere strictly to food safety, PPE and workplace safety norms.

-Follow SOPs and participate in safety audits

Reporting Documentation

-Maintain accurate production and batch logs, raw material usage records and daily shift reports.

3.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

-ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Food Technology or related field from a recognized institute.

-Minimum 0-1 years of experience in a pre-mix or similar production plant.

-Knowledge of weighing systems, batch mixing operations and industrial hygiene practices.

-Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and FSSAI standards.
