Job Summary

Senior backend engineer owning complex technical workstreams including workflow automation, enterprise integrations, and core platform services. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to design decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and build complex backend systems: workflows, integration pipelines, and platform APIs
- Implement durable workflow patterns: retry, compensation, and human-in-the-loop gates
- Own enterprise integrations end-to-end from contract to production
- Build automation frameworks and script libraries
- Conduct code reviews and mentor JL1 engineers
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates
Required Skills
- 4 6 years backend engineering; solid Node.js and/or Python
- Kafka or equivalent event streaming




- Docker and Kubernetes deployment experience
- Cloud platform experience: AWS or Azure
Nice to have
- Experience building tool-calling or automation frameworks for AI/LLM systems
- Background in enterprise integration (Teams, Slack, email gateway, or similar)
- Infrastructure automation: Ansible, Terraform, or scripting
