Senior Manager - Legal

Role Overview

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sports law, entertainment law, contract negotiation, intellectual property, commercial structuring and regulatory compliance. This role involves providing legal guidance to various internal stakeholders and supporting the organization in navigating the complex legal landscape of the sports and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to sponsorships, licensing, talent endorsement agreements, youth sports programs, and other commercial arrangements.
- Intellectual Property: Advise on IP management and protection, including copyrights, trademarks, branding, and personality/publicity rights to safeguard the company s assets.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including those governing intellectual property, sports commercial rights, content/digital platforms, information technology,



and policies/regulations prescribed by relevant sports bodies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Legal Research: Conduct research on emerging legal and commercial trends in the sports and entertainment sectors and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Advisory Support: Act as a legal advisor to internal teams, including sales, marketing, business development, and HR.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing disputes and litigation, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
- Policy Development: Contribute to developing and implementing internal policies and best practices related to legal matters.
