Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical SEO Specialist role based in Puducherry. The Technical SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing website architecture, crawlability, and indexation, ensuring that all digital properties follow SEO best practices and are aligned with search engine guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical site audits, implementing structured data, improving site speed and Core Web Vitals, managing redirects and canonical tags, and monitoring performance in tools such as Google Search Console and analytics platforms.

The role also involves collaborating with developers and content teams to implement SEO recommendations, maintaining SEO-friendly deployments, and preparing regular reports on organic performance, rankings, and key technical metrics.

Qualifications





- Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonicalization.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in analyzing site performance and Core Web Vitals, and working with developers to resolve issues related to page speed, mobile usability, and render-blocking resources.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and how front-end and back-end changes can impact SEO.
- Experience implementing structured data (Schema.org), managing redirects, and handling international or multi-language SEO is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret data, generate clear insights, and present actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and content teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role within a tech, SaaS, or digital product environment is preferred.
