Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Executive to drive sales and business development in Cuttack and the assigned Odisha territory.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the dealer and distributor network, generating orders, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer relationships and expanding market presence.
Candidates with prior experience in Electrical & Lighting, Plumbing & Piping, Hardware & Paints, Electrical Accessories or Building Materials will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the dealer and distributor network in the assigned territory.
- Identify and appoint new dealers/distributors to expand market coverage.
- Generate sales and achieve assigned monthly/quarterly targets.
- Develop strong relationships with dealers,
distributors, contractors and customers.
- Generate orders through product demonstrations, product knowledge, schemes and pricing discussions.
- Conduct regular market visits and understand customer requirements.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries and payment collections.
- Communicate product schemes, offers and pricing to dealers and customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback.
- Suggest initiatives to improve brand visibility and market penetration.
- Resolve customer/dealer issues and coordinate with internal teams for timely solutions.
- Prepare regular sales, collection and market reports for the reporting manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 26 years of experience in Field Sales / B2B Sales / Channel Sales.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following industries preferred:
- Electrical & Lighting
- Electrical Equipment / Accessori
