ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER (Payroll, HR Operations & Compliance)

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Purpose

To manage payroll operations, HR operations, statutory compliance, audits, employee services, and related governance processes for Company . The role requires a proactive, hands-on skilled who takes ownership, drives stakeholders to closure, ensures strong controls and compliance, and consistently delivers 100% accurate, compliant, and timely payroll while maintaining a high standard of employee service.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
- Administer employee lifecycle processes, including HR documentation, employee records, HRIS updates, and workforce data management.
- Coordinate statutory compliance activities and ensure timely fulfilment of regulatory requirements through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead payroll, HR operations, and compliance audits by maintaining audit-ready records, supporting audits,



and ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Manage employee communications related to payroll, compensation, benefits, and policy changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to payroll, taxation, benefits, and compliance matters, and drive employee awareness on these subjects.
- Support administration of employee benefit programs, including mediclaim, gratuity and related processes, in coordination with service providers and internal teams.
- Coordinate actuarial valuation, gratuity settlement, provisioning, and related governance requirements.
- Partner with Corporate HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and Shared Services teams to ensure process adherence, reporting accuracy, and timely data exchange.
- Govern employee reimbursements, ensuring appropriate controls, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
