Role purpose

Be the single technical voice to the customer for our power electronics programmes — owning technical governance, risk management, SOP milestone commitments and DCR estimation across the Flex GmbH and Flex US portfolio. The role exists because the account is scaling 800 V HV power electronics and zonal SDV platforms and needs one accountable technical owner across delivery and demand.

Required experience

- 10+ years in automotive electronics, with at least 4–5 years leading programmes or accounts in a supplier or tier-1 workplace.
- Hands-on background in power electronics: onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, traction inverters, BMS, power control units.
- Demonstrated ownership of ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 programme governance.
- Track record of estimation,



proposal and change-request conversion in an outsourced engineering model.
- Working familiarity with embedded software delivery — AUTOSAR Classic, CAN/CAN FD, UDS diagnostics — and V&V; toolchains such as CANoe, VectorCAST and Polarion.
- Comfortable operating across India and Germany time zones and working directly with German OEM-facing customers.

Nice to have

- German OEM programme exposure (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW, Ford platforms).
- 800 V HV architecture and SiC/GaN converter familiarity.
- Vector or ISO 21434 certification.
