We are looking for a hands-on technology leader to take ownership of the architecture and engineering of a rapid-moving, early-stage data platform, with a clear path to CTO.

This is for someone who has led engineers but still wants to build. You will inherit an existing product, codebase and distributed engineering team, improve what works, simplify what does not, and create the technical foundation for scale.

- Python-based backend development
- Data modelling and APIs
- Cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- CI/CD, automated testing and deployment
- Reliability, observability and security
- Enterprise integrations
- Technical leadership of engineers across multiple countries
- Technical conversations with customers across the US, Europe and other markets

You will remain hands-on, including architecture, code reviews, debugging, prototyping and development when required. What we are looking forStrong experience with several of:

You should be comfortable moving quickly with incomplete information, making decisions without unnecessary process, and changing direction when better evidence emerges. Strong opinions are useful. Ego is not.
