We are looking for an experienced Product Cost Management (PCM) professional to lead end-to-end costing and cost optimization for BIW, Seats, GSM and Hydraulics commodities across multiple vehicle programs.

The role will be responsible for Business Case delivery, Should Costing, Target Costing, Cost Benchmarking, VAVE and Design-to-Cost, while working closely with Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Finance and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Product Cost Management and achieve material cost targets within defined Business Case targets.
- Own Business Case preparation, validation and cost convergence with cross-functional teams.
- Lead Should Costing, Target Costing and cost analysis across project stages.
- Drive costing for BIW Structures, Body Panels, Closures, Seats, GSM and Hydraulic components.
- Develop process-based commodity cost models and cost standards.
- Drive VAVE, cost reduction, localization and alternate sourcing initiatives.
- Conduct internal and external cost benchmarking and identify cost optimization opportunities.




- Support sourcing negotiations through fact-based costing and commercial analysis.
- Partner with Product Development, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance and suppliers for cost competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain cost databases, benchmarks and costing methodologies.
- Lead cost digitization, analytics, automation and AI-enabled costing initiatives.
- Mentor the team and build capability in cost modelling, benchmarking and value engineering.
- Evaluate costing for lightweight BIW, advanced seating, automated manufacturing and EV technologies.

Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in Product Cost Management, Sourcing, CDMM, Product Development or Manufacturing.
- Robust experience in automotive / commercial vehicle / farm equipment industry.
- Proven expertise in Should Costing, Target Costing, Material Costing, VAVE and Cost Benchmarking.
- Exposure to BIW, Seats, GSM and/or Hydraulics commodities preferred.
