Reports To: Senior AutoCAD Designer / Design Manager

Experience Required:2-4 years in AutoCAD drafting/design

Compensation: As per industry standards, negotiable based on experience

Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior AutoCAD Designer to support our design team in preparing 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation. This is a outstanding opportunity for early-career designer to grow their skills under the guidance of senior designers.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and drafts using AutoCAD based on inputs from senior designers
- Make revisions to existing drawings as per client or internal feedback
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, GA (general arrangement) drawings, and fabrication drawings
- Support the estimation and production teams with accurate drawings and specifications
- Maintain proper version control and organized filing of all drawing files




- Coordinate with senior designers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, templates, and relevant codes
- Learn and gradually take ownership of small design tasks under supervision

Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline
- 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (3D modeling knowledge is a plus)
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances

- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Basic understanding of manufacturing/construction drawings
- Good communication and coordination skills
