Job Summary
Job Role: Technical Content Writer Work Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai (Work from office)
Experience: 2 - 4 Years
About the Role
Were looking for a Product Content Writer to own content across our B2C and B2B products, spanning GST compliance, MSME-focused solutions, and business intelligence/vendor compliance platforms. Youll write in-app copy, push/WhatsApp notifications, product pages, help content, and marketing collateral that makes complex compliance and fintech topics simple and actionable for our users.
What You'll Do
- Write clear, mobile-first copy for app screens, onboarding flows, push notifications, and other engagement campaigns
- Translate technical/regulatory concepts into plain-language content for non-expert users
- Collaborate with product and design teams to write UX copy - error states, empty states, CTAs, tooltips
- Create long-form content: blog posts, product one-pagers, case studies, and website copy
- Maintain and evolve tone-of-voice guidelines across B2C (warm, empowering) and B2B (qualified, credible) products
- Work with team members to align content with broader marketing goals
- Support campaign copywriting (loan products, onboarding nudges, feature launches)
- Proofread and edit content from other team members and stakeholders
- Write copy for monetised surfaces - paywalls, pricing screens, checkout, upgrade prompts, plan comparison
- Own feature naming and in-product terminology; keep it consistent across the app
- Write release notes and whats-new content for every ship
- Write the copy layer of lifecycle journeys - not just single messages, but the full sequence: trigger, nudge, reminder, win-back
- Run copy A/B tests on live journeys and read the results; iterate on what converts, not what reads well
- Write regional-language variants for campaigns
- Ensure copy on credit, loan and compliance surfaces is accurate and doesnt over-promise - these carry regulatory exposure
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in product/content writing, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or B2B tech
- Strong portfolio showing range - short-form (notifications, UX copy) and long-form (blogs, landing pages)
- Ability to write for two very different audiences: retail/MSME business owners (B2C) and enterprise/institutional stakeholders (B2B)
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and iterating fast in a startup-like environment
- Hands-on with MoEngage or similar - building journeys and writing inside the tool
- Comfortable being measured on numbers, not just craft - youll own the tap-rate on the copy you write
- Has written for a paid product - paywalls, pricing, upgrade flows
- Regional language capability (Hindi + at least one of Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam)
- Reads product analytics well enough to know which message worked and form a view on why
- Bonus: experience with regional language content (Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam)
What Success Looks Like
- Copy that reduces drop-off in onboarding/activation funnels
- Consistent, on-brand voice across all product touchpoints
- Content that a non-technical user or a busy institutional stakeholder can understand in one read
How Success Is Measured
- Interested-CTR on outbound product comms: should match industry benchmark at least
- Every priced surface has copy before launch - 100%
- Turnaround SLA from brief to first draft
