Heybase is a B2B SaaS company focused on building technology for modern sales and buyer engagement.

Our product, Heybase, is a digital sales room platform that enables businesses to create personalized spaces for sharing sales collateral, presentations, documents, videos and other resources with prospects and customers. The platform includes capabilities such as content sharing, access control, embeds, video narration, chat and engagement analytics. We are now re-building the product with a new product and technology direction, focused on building an AI-native sales platform for modern B2B teams.

About the Chance

We are seeking a Technical Co-Founder to lead the technical development of Heybase AI and take ownership of the engineering function.

The role is suited for an experienced engineer who is interested in building a company at an early stage and taking responsibility for technology, architecture and product execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the technical vision and architecture
- Lead the transition of Heybase toward an AI-native platform
- Design and develop AI/LLM-powered workflows and agents
- Build RAG and content intelligence capabilities
- Lead full-stack SaaS development
- Design scalable multi-tenant architecture
- Manage integrations, APIs, infrastructure and security
- Establish engineering standards and development processes
- Own the technical roadmap in collaboration with the product team
- Build and lead the engineering team as the company scales

Ideal Profile

- 5+ years of software engineering experience




- Strong full-stack development experience
- Proven experience building and shipping SaaS products
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI application development
- Familiarity with RAG, AI agents, vector databases and modern AI APIs
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs and cloud infrastructure
- Strong product and problem-solving orientation
- Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage environment
- Previous startup/founder experience is preferred

Equity & Commitment

- This is a full-time, equity-based founding role at the current stage.
- The Technical Co-Founder will receive meaningful equity, subject to a mutually agreed founder-equity and vesting structure.
- There is currently no fixed salary.

Initial Objectives The first phase will focus on:

1. Assessing the existing Heybase product and technology foundation
2. Defining the AI-native product and technical architecture
3. Building and launching the first version of Heybase AI
4. Working with early customers and design partners
5. Establishing the engineering roadmap and team
6. Supporting the company through product validation and fundraising

Founding Team The company is currently led by two founders with complementary product, business and technical experience.

The new Technical Co-Founder will take a hands-on leadership role in day-to-day engineering and the development of the next generation of the platform.
