Role & responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise MEP works for interior fit-out projects.
- Execute and monitor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting and other MEP services as applicable to the project.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil, architectural, interior and other site teams.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, specifications and BOQs.
- Ensure MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendors for timely execution.
- Monitor day-to-day site progress and ensure MEP activities are completed within project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify execution issues, clashes and deviations.
- Coordinate with the design and project management teams for resolving technical/site-related issues.
- Ensure proper material planning, availability and utilization at site.
- Monitor the quality of MEP installations and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain relevant site documentation.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and site safety practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
- Candidates from Interior Fit-Out, Turnkey Interior, Commercial Construction or Building Services backgrounds will be preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in MEP execution for commercial interior projects will have an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel/relocate based on project requirements.
